Something I saw at the Brooklyn Museum a while ago. I took a picture with my phone. Didn’t  notice an artist tag or name, it was kind of just tucked along the corridor when you pass to the next room. Not really sure what it means, but I assume it has something to do with taking the plunge and doing things. It’s kind of inspirational and mysterious at the same time.

Nevermind… the power of what you find on google.

Recipe for pork.

Season pork with black pepper, worchestershire sauce, lawson’s seasoned salt, and garlic (cut-up into bits). Let sit for a few hours. Cook and enjoy. So simple and I liked the taste of it.. one of the thing’s I cooked that turned out good.

Yesterday, as I was waiting for the train, I saw the most beautiful image of lightning traveling across the sky. It kind of looked like the vessels in a brain. Very beautiful image, wish I could’ve taken a picture but it moved too fast.

How is life? Life is okay. It’s interesting. I wish I were more of a mess sometimes. I think I’m so together sometimes and am usually the person taking care of people. I want to just be taken care of sometimes.

I can’t remember what I wanted to write about!

OH YEA. I wanna jazz up my blog a bit. More pictures, more life. I visit other people’s blogs and they are so much more fun.

Something I rediscovered this week were Paul Frank T-shirts. I own one of the plain Paul Frank ones and was shopping yesterday and saw an array of funny, cute ones. I love how it’s the same Julius face, but with different touches.

1. Go to the gym at least once a week. It varied, sometimes I went 2-3 times a week, sometimes not at all due to school. I honestly do think I made the effort to gym more, especially thanks to my wonderful gym buddies :)

2. Be more confident, more outspeaken. Speak without thinking MORE. I noticed this during a meeting once, I was speaking without overthinking. It was nice, kind of refreshing. Just be careful of your words because they turn into actions and actions turn into feelings… something like that. It’s a quote from something that my friend posted once.

“Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

3. Work on having higher self-esteem.

4. Be happy and more optimistic.

5. Less bitching about a certain subject.

6. Get to know people in my life better.

7. Look into yoga. Tried Bikrham yoga and attended a few other yoga classes with a friend.

8. Look into learning a new language. Attempted to learn Mandarin, still a work in progress.

9. ENJOY life!

10. Be happy in my own skin =)

And now to add on…

1. Try to read at least 1 non-school book a month.

2. Keep trying to learn to play the guitar.

3. Be open and say yes more.

4. Maintain friendships and try to build and create new ones.
